Approximate bound states of the Dirac equation with some physical quantum potentials

چکیده
The approximate analytical solutions of the Dirac equations with the reflectionless-type and Rosen-Morse potentials including the spin-orbit centrifugal (pseudo-centrifugal) term are obtained. Under the conditions of spin and pseudospin (pspin) symmetry concept, we obtain the bound state energy spectra and the corresponding two-component upperand lower-spinors of the two Dirac particles by means of the Nikiforov-Uvarov (NU) method in closed form. The special cases of the s-wave κ = ±1 (l = l̃ = 0) Dirac equation and the non-relativistic limit of Dirac equation are briefly studied.

SADDLE POINT VARIATIONAL METHOD FOR DIRAC CONFINEMENT
A saddle point variational (SPV ) method was applied to the Dirac equation as an example of a fully relativistic equation with both negative and positive energy solutions. The effect of the negative energy states was mitigated by maximizing the energy with respect to a relevant parameter while at the same time minimizing it with respect to another parameter in the wave function. The Cornell pot...
متن کاملPseudo Hermitian Interactions in the Dirac Equation
We consider a (2 + 1)-dimensional massless Dirac equation in the presence of complex vector potentials. It is shown that such vector potentials (leading to complex magnetic fields) can produce bound states, and the Dirac Hamiltonians are η-pseudo Hermitian. Some examples have been explicitly worked out.

We investigate the approximate solutions of the Dirac equation with the position-dependent mass particle in the Eckart potential field including the Coulomb tensor interaction by using the parametric Nikiforov-Uvarov method. Taking an appropriate approximation to deal with the centrifugal term, the Dirac energy states and the corresponding normalized two-spinor components of the wave function a...
متن کاملA pr 1 99 9 Are the Dirac particles of the Standard Model dynamically confined states in a higher - dimensional flat space ? 1 Ronald
Some time ago Rubakov and Shaposhnikov suggested that elementary particles might be excitations trapped on a soliton in a flat higher dimensional space. They gave as an example φ 4 theory in five dimensions with a bosonic excitation on a domain wall φ cl in the fifth dimension. They also trapped a chiral Dirac particle on the domain wall with the interaction lagrangian gψφψ. The field equation ...
متن کاملThe Bound States of Dirac Equation with a Scalar Potential by Vatsal Dwivedi Thesis
We study the bound states of the 1 + 1 dimensional Dirac equation with a scalar potential, which can also be interpreted as a position dependent “mass”, analytically as well as numerically. We derive a Prüfer-like representation for the Dirac equation, which can be used to derive a condition for the existence of bound states in terms of the fixed point of the nonlinear Prüfer equation for the a...
